What we do!
The club puts on activities every weekend and often during the week which are hosted by a club member.
The main club meeting is on a Friday evening. The club alternates between holding a club night and a “Thank God Its Friday” (TGIF) every week of the year.
Club nights are held at a central location in Aberdeen at 7.30pm.
Club Night Activities include:
- Quizzes
- Competitions
- Games
- Mix and mingle
TGIF’s are held in various venues throughout Aberdeen. There is an opportunity for members to meet for food early in the evening (usually around 6.30/7pm) and others just come later for a drink or two.
There is usually something arranged for every Saturday and Sunday as well. See indicative programme. Saturday’s are often a meal at a restaurant and there is usually a walk arranged for Sundays, especially during the summer months when the weather is better.
Every year there is a Christmas party, Annual Dinner Dance and Barbeque. Some of these events are subsidised by the club where everyone has the opportunity to attend. Coffee mornings and cinema trips are held regularly. Other ad hoc events include trips to the theatre, golf outings, weekends away and trips abroad.
Members are encouraged to host events, which might be of interest to others.
